Aurélie Fontan is a sustainable Fashion and Textile designer based both in Paris and London. In 2018 she became a British Fashion council Scholar with the support of the BFC to create her graduate collection.

She recently graduated from the Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland. Her Graduate collection TENSEGRITY revolves around sustainable and ethical processes, reflecting her experience and skills working with innovative Bio-textiles, recycled materials and intricate CAD processes.

At the 2018 edition of the Graduate Fashion Week, Aurélie's collection was awarded the M&S Best Womenswear, the Catwalk Textiles and the Dame Vivienne Westwood Ethical and Sustainable Award sponsored by Levi's. She was runner up for the Christopher Bailey Gold Award, the Hilary Alexander Trailblazer ethical Award and the Considered Design Award sponsored by Johnston's of Elgin.

After graduating, Samsung mobile commissionned Aurélie an innovative Couture collection that she decided to make entirely from the Note9 smarthphone, creating completely new ways to tackle the fashion design process, including 3D printing for design for disassembly, and using a roboto to paint onto recycled leather.

Aurélie specialised in Fine Art and Design in Paris at the ESAA Duperré before entering ECA in the UK, and won the Michael Kors Accessory Design Award in 2017.
